The Highland House is a blend of California, Caribbean and Mexican influences in both design and menu. It's a casual and fun atmosphere with a colorful and unique décor. Voted Milwaukee's Best Margaritas (six different flavors) and awarded 3 ½ stars out of 4 (Dennis Getto - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, July 2001) for our great food at a great price. Signature dishes are Fajitas, Wood Roasted Chicken, Big Bowl Pastas, and great Fish Specials. From appetizers to salads, sandwiches, pasta and dinner entrées, there is something for everyone. Kids have their own menu plus a video game room.

The Highland House features one of the best outdoor dining areas in the Midwest.  Stop in and see our beautiful fireplace!  With a southwest exposure, colorful art work and unique lighting, the dining deck is the place to be day or night. Located in Mequon close to the lake with plenty of parking and nicely landscaped grounds, it's a popular spot for a wide variety of customers. With it's lively bar and family-friendly atmosphere, the Highland House is the perfect spot after the movies (1 mile north of North Shore Marcus Theatres) and great for lunch or late night dining.

 When Benders Sports Pub was in the planning stages in 2005, Tim Pruett knew he had to set out on a journey to bring back his most favorite wing recipe from Philadelphia.  After meeting with the owner of Mr. Chibs, Tim received not only the original recipe, but also the owner’s blessing to bring the famous Mr. Chibs Garlic Buffalo Wings to Wisconsin.  Locally owned and operated, Benders Sports Pub is open 7 days a week for all to enjoy great food in a fun atmosphere.  With 13 HD TV’s, we show all the sports you can handle!  We look forward to seeing you.

Owners Kristina Krueger and partner Chef Gregory Bautista met 15 years ago and quickly identified a shared passion for exceptional cuisine. Chef Greg received a culinary degree from WCTC and Kristina graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Business Management. Both worked every facet of the industry making the perfect combination.

Creativity, years of experience, and Chef Greg's Mexican culture combined with an obsession for excellence, fulfilled a highly desired niche in the Pewaukee area.

Traditional cuisine of Mexico is combined with the flavors and specialties of Latin America to create “cuisine with flair”.
